Why you might need to calm down

If you're always stressing out about your performance at work, maintaining relationships and dealing with everything else life throws at you, your skin might be paying for it. Stress can lead to a variety of health issues, and clogged pores and blemishes are just some of them, reports Allure Magazine.

If you've noticed extra zits on your face lately that have been distracting peoples' attention from your fabulous liquid eyeliner and tube mascara, it's probably time to find ways to relax. First off, have you ever taken a mental health day? That might be one way to calm down - not only will you be able to focus on yourself for once, but you can use the free time to take care of those errands you never seem to get a chance to tackle.

If that's not an option, try turning your bathroom into a spa for a night. After work, come home and turn on the bath, filling it up with some aromatherapy oils or bath salts that will lift your spirits and soothe your body. A few candles can add to the ambiance, and of course, feel free to pamper yourself with a mani/pedi, face mask or body exfoliant. You'll emerge a lot more calm - and your skin will be a clean slate for your favorite blinc products!
