Unemployed women in France are enjoying government-funded makeovers in an effort to boost their confidence and help land them jobs in this tough economy.
According to Reuters, France's Pole Emploi, an unemployment agency, launched the makeover initiative this week, coming to the aid of women who have been too busy searching for jobs to put too much stock in their own appearances.
"This is about giving them back their pluck. Makeup changes your life simply and quickly. Touching people and talking to them is far better than giving them a pill or sending them to the psychologist's office," supervising makeup artist Regine Ferrere told the news source, as artists encouraged women to bring out the sparkle in their eyes as well as flaunt a flawless complexion.
Women looking to put a little kick back into their own appearances should start with blinc Mascara for a riveting gaze. Its long-lasting water-resistant formula will keep up with you through a slew of job interviews and won't flake, run or smudge no matter how hectic your job hunt is.
