There's no doubt about it: smoky eyes are sexy. But sometimes they're not exactly appropriate for day or especially work. However, Allure Magazine asserts that there is indeed a smoky eye look that you can pull off at these times - it just takes a whole lot of blending and the right liquid eyeliners and tube mascaras to achieve.
First, line your lash lines with blinc's liquid eyeliner to get a bit of definition and make your lashes appear thicker. Smudge a bunch of pencil eyeliner on top of this so you can blend, then use a Q-tip dipped in a bit of Vaseline or makeup remover and wipe until it's soft and almost non-existent.
Use a heated lash curler to make your eyes look wider, then seal the curl with two coats of tube mascara, which will give length and volume to your eyelashes. For a feathery effect, be sure to comb through your lashes thoroughly after each coat. You should end up with a soft, smudgy smoky eye that's smoldering yet appropriate - exactly what you're going for!
